He might be, or might not be, great at solving human emotional issues, but it seems Dr. Phil isn’t so great at keeping his dogs under control.

Janet Harris, a former best friend of Dr. Phil and his family, has filed a personal injury suit against the Dr. and his wife Robin. It turns out that Harris isn’t the only person this dog has attacked:

One person who has been around the dog a lot told RadarOnline.com that Maggie has attacked on four separate occasions and also bit a long-time employee.

“That dog bit me a few times,” a source close to the McGraw family told RadarOnline.com. “And I know she also bit an employee of theirs; that person had to go to the hospital and get stitches in their heel.”

It appears that the most recent attack occurred at Dr. Phil’s mansion and, according to the suit, Dr. Phil and his wife just basically shrugged it off and walked away. Consequently that’s the same advice the shrink gives to anyone going through an infidelity crisis. Just turn your back, walk away and head over to KFC for a double down. Works everytime.

Dr Phil rescued Maggie from the pound and subsequently discovered that she is a rare purebred Korean Jindo. The Jindo was bred as a hunting dog and is known to be fiercely loyal to and protective of its owners and highly territorial.

So the dog and Dr. Phil have something in common. No no, he isn’t protective of his patients or his wife, or even Oprah, but rather…his Hungry Man tv dinners. The good doctor just loves them and from what I hear, you do not enter his Hungry Man room. Ever.
