Mel Gibson Is At It Again
I guess he was a bit jealous of Charlie Sheen getting all the attention lately, so Mel Gibson turned himself over to police on Wednesday night.
The perfectly sane and rational (when compared to Sheen of course) star was booked and released at the El Segundo Police Department as part of his sentence for the misdemeanor battery case resulting from an alleged January 2010 incident with his then-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva.

According to the actor’s booking sheet, he surrendered at 9:30 p.m. His bail was set at $20,000. The booking sheet lists his age as 55, height as 5-foot-10, and weight at 190 pounds.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Gibson pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor battery on a spouse or cohabitant last week. As a result of his plea, the actor was sentenced to 52 weeks of counseling in a domestic violence program.
The judge also ordered Gibson to perform 16 hours of community service and was placed on criminal probation for 36 months. He will continue in a mental health-counseling program, with his undisclosed doctor.
Just in case anyone is wondering, Mel’s undisclosed doctor is a beaver puppet who helps him get back on track. Or is that a movie he’s currently making/made. Who cares. His doctor is a beaver.
My question is this…will he be severing his community service at a Jewish community center? I mean, I am sure they would be more than happy to have him and the images/news stories would just be epic. It’s the only way it can work out. It HAS to happen.
