Michael Lohan Trolled Letterman
So as we had reported earlier today, Lindsay Lohan was booked to be on Letterman this Thursday. It turns out it was all a prank. The person behind it? Her father, Michael Lohan, of course.
Here is the scoop on what went down:
We made a mistake. Someone purporting to be a friend of Lindsay’s reached out to the show yesterday, allegedly on her behalf, and booked her to appear. Clearly, this person was not authorized to make commitments on her behalf,” Tom Keaney, a spokesman for Letterman’s production company, Worldwide Pants, said in a statement
So based on that, you would think “Oh, well someone from her camp made a prank phone call to the show to book Lohan”.
Michael Lohan admitted to masterminding (using that term loosely) since he thought it would be funny to have her appear via satellite after Letterman cracked jokes at the “actress” the other night.
Michael claims that Lindsay knew all about it right up until her people found out and shitcanned the idea.
Anything positive that I bring into her life … [her people] try to nix it
Right because you’re the fucking father of the year. If you really wanted to do something positive for her you’d lock her in a safe room and beat some sense into her, only releasing her when she looked like she did in Mean Girls and could remain sober long enough to act.
